I started working with Elizabeth to focus on a weight gain strategy, as I was losing weight due to my G.I. issues. Elizabeth was very familiar with both Crohn's and IBS and was helped me to understand the disease better and how it affects diet. She put together detailed plans and did research to help me focus on specific diet/plans and behavior changes leading to a successful program and outlook. I would highly recommend Elizabeth as she took the time to understand my issues and did research to develop a positive strategy.
I needed a reset of my eating habits after a year of quarantine. Elizabeth provided me a nutritional plan that worked with my lifestyle and dietary restrictions. I left each session with the knowledge I needed to plan my meals without feeling deprived of foods I love. Before working with Elizabeth, I was suffering heavily from IBS-C. After countless doctors, tests, and medications all failed to provide relief, I found Elizabeth. Elizabeth was very knowledgeable about IBS and helped me make changes to my diet to successfully bring relief to my symptoms. She helped me set and work on goals to make these changes. She also taught me a lot about nutrition and IBS through our sessions. I no longer have to avoid going to places due to IBS and I can live freely now. Liz was responsive, respectful, non-judgmental, and knowledgable. We can all benefit from greater knowledge about the food we consume, especially when digestive disorders are in the picture. Physicians can prescribe medications, but a nutritionist can help us untangle the mysteries of what we’re eating and how are bodies are behaving.
